Celebrating Our Grand Opening at Taza Artisan Café

In September 2025, we officially opened the doors of Taza Artisan Café on Barnängsgatan 17A in Södermalm, Stockholm. Our grand opening was a meaningful moment for us — introducing Filipino flavors, handcrafted desserts, and specialty coffee to Stockholm’s vibrant café scene.

We created Taza to be more than just a café. From day one, our vision has been to build a creative space where culture, craft, and community come together.

A Special Day with the Filipino Community in Stockholm

The opening brought together members of the Filipino community in Stockholm, local guests, friends, and supporters. We were honored to welcome Ambassador Patrick A. Chuasoto and representatives from the Philippine Embassy, whose presence meant a great deal to us. Their support highlighted the importance of cultural exchange and Filipino entrepreneurship in Sweden. Throughout the day, the café was filled with live Filipino music, traditional touches, and a warm, celebratory atmosphere that reflected our heritage and the spirit behind Taza.

What We Offer at Taza Artisan Café

At Taza Artisan Café, we serve a selection of Filipino desserts, specialty coffee, and café lunch options inspired by both tradition and creativity. Our menu includes ube cake, ube cassava, pandesal, ensaymada, leche flan, halo-halo, adobo bowls, sandwiches, and seasonal Filipino pastries. Alongside our desserts, we offer specialty coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and premium bean-to-bar chocolates such as Auro, as well as our own Taza Blend coffee.

Everything we serve is prepared fresh daily using authentic flavors and quality ingredients. Our focus is on handcrafted products made with care — bringing a genuine Filipino café experience to Södermalm.
