We Celebrated Our First Year at Taza!
On 13 September 2026, we celebrated a very special milestone — Taza Artisan Cafe’s first anniversary!
It was a wonderful day filled with Filipino food, live music, raffle prizes, laughter and, most importantly, the people who have supported us throughout our first year.
When we started Taza, our vision was to create more than just a café. We wanted to create a welcoming place where people could come together and discover Filipino flavours, culture and hospitality right here in Stockholm. Seeing so many of you celebrating with us made our first anniversary incredibly special.

Food, Music & Celebration
Of course, no Taza celebration would be complete without plenty of food!
Throughout the day, our guests enjoyed Filipino favourites and some of the dishes and desserts that have become part of the Taza experience — from lechon kawali, chicken inasal, tapsilog and adobo to our cakes, pastries and colourful ube creations.
At 16:00, the celebration really came alive with Terry Andersson and James Medeo, who entertained our guests with live music and nostalgic Filipino songs. The music, conversations and laughter created exactly the kind of atmosphere we hoped for.
We also held our anniversary raffle draw, with some lucky guests taking home prizes to remember the occasion.

Honoured to Welcome the Philippine Embassy
We were especially honoured to welcome representatives from the Philippine Embassy in Stockholm to our anniversary celebration.
First Secretary Christiansen Cabahug conveyed the warm congratulations and well wishes of Ambassador Patrick Chuasoto to our owner, Jenny Andersson.
We were also delighted to welcome Second Secretary Pat Lester Solosa, Cultural Officer Ma. Luisa Roque and Consular Officer Rene Salazar.
We are very grateful for their presence and for the Embassy's continued support of Filipino-owned businesses and Filipino entrepreneurs in Sweden.
One Year of Sharing Filipino Flavours
One of the things that makes us happiest about our first year is seeing more people discover Filipino food and flavours.
Our ube collection has become one of Taza’s signatures. This naturally vibrant purple Filipino yam can be discovered across our menu in many different forms — from cakes, ensaymada and ice cream to Ube Bulle and Ube drinks.
Alongside our desserts and pastries, we love introducing our guests to comforting Filipino favourites and giving people who may never have tried Filipino food before an opportunity to discover something new.
Most of All — Thank You 💚
Our anniversary would not have been possible without you.
To everyone who joined us on September 13, thank you for making our celebration so memorable.
And to all our customers who have supported Taza throughout our first year — thank you. Whether you visit us regularly, have brought your friends and family, ordered food from us, recommended Taza to someone, followed our journey online, or simply walked through our doors once because you were curious to try Filipino food — every visit and every bit of support has meant something to us.
We are incredibly grateful for our first year and excited about everything still to come.
This is only the beginning.
Maraming salamat for being part of our Taza journey. We look forward to welcoming you again soon!
