On 18 May 2026, Taza Artisan Café marked a meaningful milestone with its long-awaited Inaugural Blessing, held in the presence of distinguished guests, friends, family, and members of the Filipino community in Sweden.
Although Taza has been serving customers for the past eight months, we felt it was important to pause and formally bless the café as we continue our journey of sharing Filipino food, culture, and hospitality in Stockholm.
We were deeply honored by the presence of H.E. Ambassador Patrick A. Chuasoto, Consul Pat Solosa, and representatives from the Philippine Embassy in Stockholm. Their attendance made the occasion especially meaningful and reflected the strong support for Filipino entrepreneurship and cultural initiatives in Sweden.
The blessing ceremony was officiated by Rev. Fr. Rono Toledo, whose prayers and words of encouragement reminded us of the importance of gratitude, community, and faith as we continue to grow.
Following the ceremony, guests gathered for a Filipino buffet dinner featuring traditional dishes and warm fellowship. The evening provided an opportunity for friends, family, embassy representatives, and supporters of Taza to come together and celebrate not only the café itself, but also the Filipino spirit of hospitality and community.
Since opening our doors in September 2025, Taza Artisan Café has been dedicated to introducing authentic Filipino flavors to Stockholm while creating a welcoming space for people from all backgrounds. What began as a dream to share Filipino food, desserts, specialty coffee, and culture has grown into a place where people meet, connect, and discover something new.
We are sincerely grateful to everyone who has supported us throughout these past eight months. Whether you have visited us for a cup of coffee, enjoyed a Filipino meal, attended one of our events, or simply shared kind words and encouragement, you have helped make Taza what it is today.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to serving fresh, authentic Filipino food and creating a warm atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and at home.
Maraming salamat po for being part of our journey.
